The body lay enfolded in peace

shrouded by an unearthly coldness

radiating heat

 

its breath mingled with the warmth of his body

lying prostrate over the sinew limbs

vibrating with an imponderable life-force

making it all mellowy-wet

with his balming breath

leading it to embark on pleasures transcendental,

ananda indefinable—

 

that being so blessed with his knowledge

it emerges enlightened

from the dense depths of an abysmal darkness

shredding clean the manacles of its long-chained body

pierced with “dos” and “don’ts”

to arise like a phoenix out of the arid ashes

to flower in his flowering caresses

to swim unabated in the countless

rhythms of an orgasmic ocean
